IT Support Engineer
Description
Netmarks Singapore Pte Ltd, an affiliated company of Uniadex Japan specialising in IT infrastructure & services, is looking for energetic, self-driven, motivated, tech-savvy IT support engineer who make a difference to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support to our clients (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Setting up accounts for new users
• Perform software upgrades/patches on systems
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Consult end users to address problems on ticket escalations from the Help Desk
• Testing new solutions
Skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Pro-active and self-driven, able to work independently with minimal direction
• A technical, logical thought process
• Problem-solving skills
• An ability to stick to strict deadlines
• An ability to prioritise and delegate
• Demonstrate good team work and maintain a can do attitude to assist team.
Qualifications
• Minimum of Diploma in Engineering/ Computer Science
• Familiar with technologies in PC and servers, Windows Operating systems, cyber security and networking
